Literary festivals are usually a lot of fun, so here's a recommendation if you're anywhere near Montreal. The Blue Metropolis International Literary Festival is on this week, and there are scads of interesting events. 
Several of my writing cronies will be talking about their works and writing in general, including David Homel and Ann Charney.
